Using the web sites listed above (or your customized news page- http://www.mysnap.com or http://crayon.net), you are to research three topics in computer news, preferably one on general computing or software, one on gaming or entertainment, and one on internet. This must be done twice a week during this course. The class will discuss new trends in computing each week based on the stories you review. Be sure to read the articles thoroughly!

You can now access the internet using a pager. The RIM can send and receive pages
and e-mail and will soon be able to act as a wireless PDA. It has an Intel 386 processor
inside, 1MB of memory, a little black-and-white backlit screen, a clever curved keyboard
(for typing with two thumbs), and a roller wheel that acts like your computer's mouse. It
runs on one AA battery.
